Brian McMahon

Managing Director|Global Head of Alternative Sales at BNY Mellon

Brian is responsible for driving strategy, thought leadership, market positioning and pricing for the services BNY Mellon offers to managers of private debt, direct lending collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and syndicated loan portfolios. He also leads our Alternatives sales team globally. Brian brings to the role a depth of expertise in private markets across the segments. Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2012, Brian held investment servicing roles at Citi and State Street. Based in Luxembourg, Brian qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Ireland, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Masters in Management Science from University College Dublin, Ireland. Brian is an active member of a variety of industry groups.
