Dr. Joachim Köhne is Head of the Quantitative Asset Management Team at the Treasury of Hamburger Sparkasse AG. His Team empowers the investment process for the own funds of Hamburger Sparkasse AG and supports its Wealth Management. Hamburger Sparkasse AG is the largest savings bank in Germany with a balance sheet of € 60bn.

Joachim joined Hamburger Sparkasse AG in 1996 as Analyst. Since 1999 he actively managed portfolios for the bank in various positions within Treasury. With his team he is covering a wide range of asset classes. He oversees the asset allocation process and the selection of external mandates.

Joachim holds a Ph.D. in Economics. He also holds two Master’s degrees in Economics and Business Administration. He is a CEFA charter holder.
