Michael Reinhard

CEO at Universal Investment

Michael Reinhard is the CEO of the Universal Investment Group. Under his management the group increased its assets under administration to over EUR 950bn and transformed into an international player with branches in Luxembourg, Dublin, London, Paris, Hamburg and Krakow, with a clear focus on new technologies and innovation, which included the acquisition and foundation of FinTech entities within the group. The banker and graduate in business administration, specialised in financial services, began his professional career in 1999 as a Principal Consultant at the management consultancy PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on the areas of asset management and private banking. Prior to Universal Investment, Michael Reinhard worked in various senior management roles at AXA Investment Managers Group from 2002 to 2018. He has been a member of the management board of the German fund industry association BVI since 2019.
