Zin Bekkali

Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Investment Officer at Silk Invest

Zin Bekkali is the founder of Silk Invest and acts as CEO and group CIO. He has headed the investment activities of the firm and has developed a unique Frontier Markets track record in equities, fixed income and private equity. 

Zin Bekkali has extensive experience and a proven track record in the asset management industry. He among others worked for ING Investment Management, Bain & Company and Fortis Investments.

Zin is has lived in different countries in Europe, Africa and Asia and he speaks Dutch, Arabic, French and English. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and a master’s degree of Science in Operations Research & Management from the University of Amsterdam. 

Zin is a CFA charter holder and he completed his Executive MBA at London Business School.
