Peter is head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management's European Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) business. He rejoined the firm as a managing director in 2018.
Previously, Peter was an executive director in the Securities Division from 1999 to 2009, holding various trading roles in London and Tokyo. He initially joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 through its acquisition of the Hull Trading Company.
Before rejoining the firm, Peter was founder, president and interim chief executive officer at Source ETF, an independent asset management firm co-founded by Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley in 2009 and sold to Invesco in 2016.
Peter is a trustee and co-head of LondonSports CIO, the largest youth baseball/softball program in the UK, and before returning to Goldman Sachs, he served as a volunteer chief operating officer at the FirstLove Foundation, a charity based in Tower Hamlets, east London.
Peter earned a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin in 1988 and an MBA in Finance from the University of Iowa in 1990.
