Nigel Parker advises on the intellectual property, technology and data aspects of corporate and commercial transactions, including joint ventures and collaborations, as well as standalone intellectual property and data-rich commercial matters. He has particular expertise across IP-rich sectors, including life sciences, automotive and financial services. He has experience in a range of digital projects, covering fields such as digital health and digital marketing. His data practice spans all areas of data privacy, including advising on impact assessment of new products and services, international data transfers (including BCRs) and data protection authority investigations. He advises on the legal aspects of cybersecurity, including strategies for managing legal risk and on the response to cyber-attacks and dealing with regulatory authorities. He has extensive experience of complex technology transactions, including outsourcing, complex technology licences, and manufacturing and supply arrangements. Nigel is recognised as a leading individual in his specialist areas, in both Chambers UK and Legal 500 UK. He is the contributing editor of the GIR Guide to Data Protection in Investigations and A&O's Digital Hub blog.
