Mike ClarkFounder – Ario Advisory at Former NED at Brunel Pension Partnership
Mike Clark is Founder Director of Ario Advisory, a responsible investment advisory firm. An actuary, Mike represents the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries on the Advisory Council to the Sustainable Finance Programme at the University of Oxford's Smith School. Mike spent nearly four years as a NED at Brunel, one of the investment management companies delivering pooling for the LGPS. Mike was Specialist Adviser to the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) for their 2018 Green Finance inquiry, and continues to be involved with the work of Select Committees. He recently stood down from WHEB Asset Management's independent Investment Advisory Committee on reaching the 5-year term limit. A lot of his work across the financial system focuses on the financial risks of climate change. His research includes evaluating the role of government as the state’s Chief Risk Officer.
