Hans Petter Mortensholm has a naval background in the Royal Norwegian Navy as a navigator and command officer of several naval units.
Mortensholm began his employment at the Norwegian Coastal Administration in 2008. He has experience from removal of bunker oil from several World War II wrecks inside Norwegian Territorial Waters along with the wreck removal of the Russian Cruiser “Murmansk”. As part of the response organization against acute pollution for the Norwegian Coastal Administration, Mortensholm is responsible for monitoring the ship owner’s actions during accidents with release of pollutants into the environment.
