Jon Marks
Chief Research Officer at E.W. Scripps


Jon Marks is Chief Research Officer for Scripps Networks where he oversees research for nine over-the-air networks and their digital extensions, including ION, Bounce, Court TV, Scripps News and five additional multicast networks. Prior to joining Scripps in 2021 he was a consultant for a number of media companies including ABC/Disney, Crown Media, NBCUniversal, Weather Channel, Public Broadcasting Atlanta, and others. Jon spent 14 years at Turner Broadcasting where he led research efforts for TBS, TNT, TruTV, TCM, Cartoon Network, and other cable TV brands. Prior industry experience includes stints at Telemundo, Channel One News, Young & Rubicam, and J. Walter Thompson. Jon lives in the Atlanta area.
