Nellie Gregorian is the founder and president of Fluent Research – a data- and insights driven strategic consulting firm specializing in children’s media, technology, and education. Nellie has extensive experience in designing and managing formative, summative and brand research studies for media and technology companies. Her research has informed the development of numerous television shows, games, and apps across various platforms.
Nellie has considerable expertise in evaluating the impact of media and outreach initiatives on children’s acquisition of knowledge, social skills, and positive behaviors – both domestically and internationally. She has conducted studies in over 70 countries, examining how educational media, including television, radio, and mobile apps, affects children’s learning across a wide range of educational goals, such as literacy, cooperation, tolerance, and appreciation of cultural diversity. She has also conducted studies demonstrating the power of media to affect cultural norms, particularly around the issue of gender equality.
