Katy Lees, BS, is the Director of 340B Policy and Business Strategy at University ofRochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. In this role, she provides 340B oversightacross the health system, managing a team of 15 that is responsible for ongoing, realtimecontract pharmacy and outpatient pharmacy audits and routine monitoring andmaintenance of 340B compliance in the hospital’s mixed-use areas. She also worksclosely with UR Government Relations and other safety-net providers to advocate forthe preservation of the 340B Program, meeting with key lawmakers on Capitol Hillbiannually to explain the value of the program and its importance in stretching scarceresources. Katy received her BS in health administration from Roberts of WesleyanCollege in Rochester. She became a 340B Apexus Certified Expert in 2017.
