Kelly Guntrum
US Value & Innovation Contracts and Partnerships at UCB


Kelly has served in many roles throughout the healthcare ecosystem and as such brings extensive sales & leadership experience in medical device, pharmaceuticals and biologics to her role at UCB. 

Kelly is the currently the head of US Value & Innovation Contracts and Partnerships, a newly created role that is focused on transforming UCB from a transactional supplier of medicines into a collaborative partner in the healthcare system.  Kelly is responsible for the US strategy on innovative and value-based contracts for current and pipeline products focused on working with external partners to move from a volume driven system to a value-based care system. 

Kelly joined UCB from Amgen where she was the Director of Global Value Based Partnership working with health systems, national and regional payers and government entities to form partnerships and projects of mutual interest.  She was responsible for generating new and novel ways of partnering with key stakeholders; and training the organization on principles of value-based healthcare.  Before that she was a part of the launch of the organized customer team focusing on gaining and enhancing access across the portfolio of products with regional payers & health systems.  Kelly joined Amgen in 2009 to build a sales team for the launch of the first biologic sales force in primary care. 

Kelly joined Amgen from Schering-Plough where she was a district sales manager in Brooklyn-Queens NY and representative at Bayer in Palm Beach Fl.  She held roles in sales, sales training and marketing at both Schering-Plough and Bayer. 

Over her career Kelly has worked within the autoimmune, oncology, bone, neurology and cardiovascular therapeutic areas and has developed key strategic partnerships with payers and organized customers.
