Dena Karels comes to the Magellan Rebate Dispute Team with a diverse pharmacy background spanning the last 18+ years. She leads the dispute team and continues to improve MRx’s dispute resolution process. Her experience and expertise include retail, long-term care, hospital IV infusion, purchasing, 340B compliance and auditing, revenue analytics, finance operations, claim reconciliation and specialty pharmacy provider contracting. Dena is pursuing a BA in Healthcare Leadership at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
