Tanu Singh, MS, PhDProtocol Development Lead at Fox Chase Cancer Center
Tanu Singh is the Protocol Development Lead within the Investigator-Sponsored Research Unit at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Tanu is involved in leading the development and management of Oncology Clinical Trials. In this role she assists Medical Oncologists in the development, scientific review and efficient initiation of the study in alignment with stakeholders within the study team. Tanu is responsible to establish relationships and provide support to cross-functional teams both internally and externally. Tanu reviews and finalizes study protocols, amendments, ancillary documents, budget allocation and scientific reviews received from IRB and the FDA. Tanu leads and conducts stakeholders meetings and actively participates in study related meetings with the internal teams and external grantors. Tanu provides clarity on study related questions pertaining to the protocol and safety. She assists investigators in preparing investigator slides for site initiation visits, grants, manuscripts and abstracts.
Previously, Tanu completed her post-doctoral fellowship in cancer biology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Tanu holds an MS in Biology and a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology & Genetics from Drexel University College of Medicine. She is passionate about both basic and translational research, and has published and presented her research in many high-tiered journals and conferences over the years.
Tanu hopes she can leverage her extensive research background along with the clinical research experience at Investigator-Sponsored Research Unit, to bring scientifically robust and safety-driven clinical trials to cancer patients.
