Alison HallHead of Humanities at PHG Foundation, UK
As Head of Humanities, Alison leads the regulatory and ethical work at the PHG Foundation, a multidisciplinary health policy think-tank within the University of Cambridge. She leads a team working on the regulation of digital health and genomic technologies, specifically how data protection and medical device law impacts innovation and the implementation of biomedical technologies into healthcare.
Recent grants include a Wellcome Trust funded project on Black box medicine and transparency, and funding from the UK Information Commissioner’s Office for a report on the General Data Protection Regulation and genomic data. She also sits on multiple national health policy committees.
