Profile
Pieter graduated as Doctor in Biotechnology at Ghent University. Prior to specializing in regulatory affairs for the IVD industry, he was responsible for verification/validation, implementation and harmonization of various IVD assays in clinical laboratories across multiple continents. Pieter's in-depth areas of expertise are flow cytometry panels, in-house lab developed tests, and automated analyzers. At Qarad, Pieter is a senior consultant for IVD manufacturers; having written > 50 IVD device technical documentations for the IVDR, his specialty is building IVDR-compliant technical documentation.
