With a new feel to the Flame Conference,we decided it was time to introduce the brains behind the initiative. It's our pleasure to introduce to you Kathryn Bond and Heidi Stancliffe, our co-Editor-in-Chiefs of the Flame Conference 2016.

Kathryn Bond

Co-Editor in Chief, Flame

Kathryn BondKathryn used to produce the Flame conference for 8 years before taking time out to have 3 gorgeous sons. 5 years later she’s delighted to be back working with Heidi on the Festival of Flame. The gas markets have seen a lot of change over the years and it has been fascinating to learn about the dynamics of the market, follow the developments and to work alongside some of the most knowledgeable and friendly experts in the industry.

Who remembers . . .

"The year it snowed… I remember getting up at 5am to trudge over to the Okura in the pouring snow, to set up for the day! Note to self: don’t start Flame too early!"

Heidi Stancliffe

Co-Editor in Chief, Flame

Heidi Stancliffe

Heidi comes to Flame from a background running our airport development portfolio, events which share a many of the high-level, strategic, international qualities of Flame. She’s excited to be getting to grips with the gas industry and explore the synergies in infrastructure development in the transport and energy sectors.

Who would have thought . . .

"I was recently at a dinner where Sir Howard Davies (Chair of the UK Airports Commission) was chased out of the room by six environmental protestors dressed as polar bears. Perhaps some energy industry professionals can empathise with his plight?"
