Attul returned from a two year secondment to the US firm’s valuation team in 2009. He specialises in the banking and investment management sectors and provides valuations for accounting, commercial (e.g. deals) and restructuring purposes.
Having specialised in valuations for more than 15 years, he currently leads on financial reporting valuations and most recently his larger projects have focussed on financial services clients seeking assistance with the accounting valuations in the banking and financial technology space. He has published thought leadership on the valuation of banks and has presented to clients and national regulators on this topic, including the Bank of England.
His clients include: London Stock Exchange Group, Paysafe Group, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Nomura International, Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group, Rabobank, Standard Bank, Allied Irish Banks, BC Partners, JC Flowers, CVC, Doughty Hanson, Electra Private Equity, Man Group and GE Capital.
He has previously spoken at PwC sponsored events such as Meet the Experts and externally at events such as the Annual Oxford University Business School Private Equity Forum and the British Venture Capital Association as a valuation expert.
