Julie is a Strategy Director, with 20 years of experience working with private and public sector clients to design and deliver complex digitally-enabled transformations.
She has extensive experience of designing and delivering X-Government programmes that focus on business, international trade and economic development. Her clients include the major central departments - Cabinet Office, DIT, HMRC, DEFRA, BEIS, FCDO, DExEU, DWP - helping them evaluate and shape strategic options to support business, lead OD and improve organisational effectiveness across the departments and agencies to achieve public outcomes.
Since the 2016 UK referendum, Julie's focus has been on helping to establish the framework and capabilities needed to design and deliver the UK’s future trade and borders regime. She led the design of the new Trade Remedies Authority and restructuring of X-WH organisations and initiatives needed to deliver Brexit. Over the last 18 months, She has been working across public and private sectors on business readiness for the future trade agreements, and helping clients with market entry strategies, customer led transformation and digitisation of their service offer in order to reduce costs and expanding their market share.
Prior to joining PwC, Julie started her career in private sector development and public sector reform in emerging markets. She worked with some of the largest multinational organisations including UNDP, UNICEF, World Bank and OECD. From 2013-2015, She advised one of the most complex enterprise transformations at UNDP, merging multiple Bureaux and creating an organisation more aligned to its vision and strategic plan.
Julie has worked in more than 20 countries across Europe, North America, Asia and Africa and is bilingual in French and English. She has an M Phil in Social Political Science from the University of Cambridge.
