Michelle Lanyon-Foster is a Senior Manager in PwC's Digital and Forensic Investigations team. She specialises in the investigation of complex accounting irregularities and is passionate about helping clients to understand and resolve complicated issues. Michelle's work often involves working with lawyers to support her clients throughout a litigation process or when engaging with regulators across multiple jurisdictions.

Her experience includes leading key accounting analysis in relation to allegations of complex accounting fraud, conducted over several years, at an international client in the technology industry - this analysis was used in the context of civil litigation in the UK, criminal investigations by the DoJ and allegations of auditor negligence. Recently, Michelle has supported a FTSE listed company in the construction sector to investigate financial reporting irregularities and has provided forensic accounting advice to a FTSE listed retail group.

She is an enthusiastic tennis player and skier and follows West Bromwich Albion FC at home and away. Michelle has a PhD in Astrophysics and enjoys keeping up with recent developments in the field.
