Mr. Alshafai has over 9 years of solid experience in cybersecurity. His primary area of focus and interest in cybersecurity is on Alignment of Business Strategy with Cybersecurity Strategy, Cyber Security Defense and Monitoring, Cybersecurity Architecture, Cybersecurity Resilience and Incident Response, and Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence. In addition to that, His management role of Developing and Executing Cybersecurity Strategy, and Governance, Risk and Compliance of Information Security to the organization he represents.

Mr. Alshafai’s experience in the Information Security and Cybersecurity is backed by a solid technical and managerial background in the IT, Information Security, Banking, Regulatory, and Cybersecurity International Best Practices.

Mr. Alshafai’s educational background includes a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, with concentration in Software Engineering and Computer and Network Security from the University of Texas at San Antonio, United States of America in addition to GIAC GCIH (Incident Handling), GMON (Continuous Security Monitoring), GSEC (Security Essentials), GSTRT (Security Strategic Planning, Policy and Leadership), CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer), COBIT5 and ISO-27001 Lead Auditor.
