With a specialty in commercial planning and programming strategies, Fatima introduces fresh perspectives to GH+A projects gleaned from years of urban planning and design experience. Having worked in architecture, landscape design and retail planning for a diverse range and scale of projects in Asia-Pacific, her intercontinental viewpoints enrich GH+A’s approach to experiential projects.
Prior to joining the GH+A team, Fatima worked as Project Manager providing critical coordination, communication, and design support between design teams and client project management teams. She was involved in multiple international projects throughout Asia-Pacific including a 25-acre high-density integrated mixed-use project, KL Eco City, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; a major resort destination, Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay Resort and Spa, in Sanya, China; a lifestyle retail masterplan concept design and strategic retail planning of Gaysorn Village, a multi-level shopping and office complex, in Bangkok, Thailand; and the high-profile Queen’s Wharf Brisbane entertainment and resort development in Brisbane, Australia.
Fatima holds a Bachelor of Art in Urban Planning from Concordia University in Montreal and a Master of Urban Design from the University of Hong Kong.
