Netafim India has launched a portable drip kit – an all-in-one irrigation solution they claim is easy to install and comes at an affordable price. The kit is designed for small farmers with farmland up to one acre.

Through the launch of the portable drip kit, Netafim India aims to cover 10,000 hectares of land under irrigation and reach 25,000 farmers across the country in the coming year. In Madhya Pradesh, the company intends to reach an additional five percent of the farmer community and cover ~ 2,000 hectares of marginal farmland under drip irrigation.

The company states the kit provides user-friendly, lightweight and moveable solutions to match a farmer’s unique requirements. Designed for irrigation of 4,500 m2 fields, all the products and parts can be easily installed and dissembled after use.
The key component of the kit is FlexNet – a leak-proof flexible mainline and manifold piping solution that offers precise water delivery and increased water savings as well as improved crop performance potential through enhanced system performance.
