Farhard Davaripour
PhD Candidate at Memorial University of Newfoundland

I have three years of experience working with engineering consultant companies as a structural designer. I have also been doing an internship in TechnipFMC company doing research and developing models to investigate the trawling gear impact with pipelines in offshore east coast Canada. These work experiences coupled with my educational qualifications at the master’s level and current Ph.D. level (in progress). During my master's program, my research area was associated with the installation of subsea structures. In my current Ph.D. program, I have conducted research in arctic offshore geotechnics, subsea pipeline engineering, and the effect of damage propagation in cylindrical shells (e.g., pipelines).
