Katie Survance leads the Shopper Insights & Analytics team across Beer, Wine and Spirits at Constellation Brands. Her team is tasked with using shopper behavior and data to drive actionable and strategic insights, providing recommendations across internal and external business partners. A passionate storyteller, she looks for ways to bring to life the shopper in a way that resonates and connects with her audience.
With over 10 years of market research experience, Katie began her career on the vendor side at Ipsos and Nielsen. Prior to Constellation Brands, Katie spent several years at Hillshire Brands/Tyson in Shopper Insights and Category Management roles. Katie was named one of Shopper Marketing Magazine’s eight “People to Watch” in 2014 and she holds a BSBA degree with a specialization in marketing from Bowling Green State University. She lives in Chicago with her husband, two children and two dogs.
