Over his career, Matt has driven growth for brands and retailers across a wide range of categories, sectors, and countries. His expertise spans marketing, media, sales, digital, insights, big data, CPG, Retail, customer experience, and path-to-purchase understanding. He has advised hundreds of clients in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, across multiple verticals. Matt is currently the Head of Global Commercial Development for Nepa, a Stockholm-based insights and advisory company that provides omnichannel customer experience and marketing optimization solutions to B2B and B2C clients. Matt is also the Founder and CEO of Value for Growth LLC, through which he advises early stage and established companies operating in the consumer, shopper, and audience insights space.
Matt has previously held C-level roles, including Chief Growth Officer, Chief Customer Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer, at start-ups and established companies, including ThinkVine, FamilyTech, Ignite Technologies, and Information Resources. In 2003, Matt became an early member of dunnhumbyUSA’s leadership team and launched their CPG business, which grew to 100s of clients and changed the way brands and retailers engaged with each other. He then held five additional global and U.S. roles over the next 12 years, including head of Communications & Media, M&A Strategy, and Client Strategy & Capability. Matt's marketing career began in P&G Brand Management, where he worked on laundry brands and new products over five years.
