Michael is the Head of Operational Resilience at Shawbrook Bank. He joined the specialist bank 5 years ago in second line operational risk overseeing operational resilience implementation, before putting his money where his mouth was and leading the first line function, so benefits from both perspectives. Michael also leads the Operational Continuity In Resolution programme and jointly oversees first line third party risk management within the Bank. Before joining Shawbrook he held operational leadership roles at GE Capital Bank and Hampshire Trust Bank providing experience across a range of operational and resilience challenges in multi-national and start-up environments, respectively.
