Julian Thielen

Head of 'Made for Recycling' at Interseroh

Julian Thielen lives and works in Cologne. After studying Process Engineering Paper and Packaging (B. Eng) in Munich and Packaging Technology (M. Eng) at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, he worked as a Business Development Engineer in the USA and then in Application Engineering at Bischof + Klein in Lengerich. At the beginning of 2018, he then started working for Interseroh+ in Cologne, in order to meet the new challenges of the New German Packaging Law and to promote packaging design "Made For Recycling". Already before and during his studies, he gained experience in packaging development (private label and brand owners) , corrugated board production and film production and thus has a comprehensive view of the supply chain of packaging.
