Marcelle Peuckert is working at SIG Combibloc in EU Public Affairs and advocacy. She represents SIG on industry associations and is currently the President of ACE and on the Board of EXTR:ACT.She earned a Bachelors degree of Commerce (Marketing & Industrial Psychology) from the University of South Africa. She is also an alumni of the Prince of Wales Business and Sustainability Leadership Programme and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Cross-Sector Partnerships from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Marcelle has over 25 years of experience in the social and environmental sectors and previously led the Business Development efforts of the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB), with a focus on the sustainable bioeconomy. Prior to that, Marcelle served as the Forest Stewardship Council’s (FSC) Business Development Director and brings many years of knowledge and experience in sustainability management, public affairs, marketing and brand engagement. She is South African and also brings many rich experiences from her working in social enterprise organisations in Africa.
