Allie Chenault

Patient Prescription Assistance Program at Texas Children's Hospital

Allie is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with a strong track record of success. She has spent the past 4+ years working at Texas Children's Hospital, where she created the Patient Prescription Assistance Program for the Specialty Pharmacy. Through her efforts, Allie has helped more than 100 families access life-saving medications and provided continuous education on the program to multiple pharmacy departments. Allie is also responsible for managing charity usage and reviewing and auditing all patients eligible for assistance programs to ensure they are receiving the best care possible.

Allie graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned her Bachelor's Degree and played softball for the Ragin' Cajun team.

In her free time, Allie likes to spend time with her boyfriend and their dog Emma, as well as coaching softball and assisting young women in her community to reach their potential on and off the field through community service.
