Andrew began his career in Washington D.C. as an advocacy and policy specialist in the non-profit sector. While working in the nation’s capital, Andrew focused his efforts on improving patient access to care, protecting patients’ rights, and reinforcing the government’s public health investments. He is passionate about empowering patients, elevating their voices, and working alongside them to build a more equitable health care system in the United States.
During the coronavirus pandemic, Andrew assisted individuals facing challenges with access to care, health insurance enrollment, and government relief program eligibility. The enormous scope of the coronavirus pandemic called attention to the need for greater public health engagement across the country, which led Andrew to launch Pandemic Patients with Christopher Floyd.
