Certified Pharmacy Technician, Medication Assistance Caseworker at Orange County Free Clinic

Crystal Nisly is a PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician and Medication Assistance Caseworker at the Orange County Free Clinic in the small town of Orange in Central Virginia. She has worked there since 2013 and leads a robust and efficient medication assistance program.

She advocates for the low-income, uninsured and underserved patients of their clinic, as well as patients from other local doctors offices who qualify for PAP assistance. She is passionate about helping her community gain access to needed medications and is persistent and dedicated in her pursuit of that objective.

Her prior experiences include teaching, tutoring and customer service. She taught elementary education for fifteen years and lived in Central America for nine years. She now uses the Spanish she learned there in her daily work at the clinic.
