Laura Hanen

Laura Hanen has more than 25 years of bipartisan experience in government relations and public affairs focused on public health and health care policy, advocacy and communications. A member of the District Policy Group®, she builds relationships with members of Congress, congressional staff, officials at health-related government agencies and the White House. Skilled in public affairs, communications and marketing, she has served as a national spokesperson and has been quoted in national media outlets including The New York Times, Reuters, Politico and The Hill. Laura previously served as the Chief of Government Affairs for the National Association of City and County Health Officials. She also was the Director of Government Relations for the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors and served as Senior Lobbyist for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
