Shannon Coven serves as the Senior Vice President, Data and Platforms for AmerisourceBergen. She leverages over 20 years of healthcare operations and analytics experience to lead this newly formed segment focused on delivering robust data insights and technology forward platforms to biopharmaceutical clients. Under Shannon’s leadership, this team is building a broader data universe and technology stack to uniquely bring enhanced insights and patient journey efficiencies to clients. She is passionate about partnering with biopharma companies to leverage data to improve access, affordability, adherence, and ultimately outcomes for patients.

Prior to joining Global Pharma Services, Shannon held several executive roles with AmerisourceBergen, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President, GPO Operations and Digital Solutions. Notably, she led the specialty GPO transformation and channel expansion strategies, inclusive of building and launching a new three-way digital analytics platform, GPOConnect. Since joining AmerisourceBergen in 2003, she played a critical role in the inception and early development of several market-shaping biopharma services. Shannon is motivated by listening to customers with a strong desire to solve the problems that are important to them and is gifted at delivering newly imagined solutions to complex problems. The expertise gained through leading these technical and analytics transformations distinctively positions Shannon to lead AmerisourceBergen’s new Data and Platforms segment for Global Pharma Services.
