Russell is an experiential marketing and corporate events executive based in New York. As a Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Creative Officer, he has worked with teams of designers and technologists to lead creative and strategic B2B and B2C projects and events for brands like Spotify, Bell Labs, Daytona International Speedway, Mack Truck, FIS, Pfizer, Verizon, and Toyota. At the corporate level, he guides and leads digital and experiential strategy and has pioneered new approaches to analytics and revenue generation.

Russell is also the publisher and co-author of all the books in the acclaimed Notes On series. Notes on Directing, his first book, was named by the authors of The 100 Best Business Books of All Time as one of the three best books on leadership. Russell served as a Visiting Artist-in-Residence at Harvard University and holds degrees from Colgate and Columbia Universities.
