Fred Medick

Fred Medick oversees global legal support for personalized healthcare ("PHC") and digital health initiatives at Genentech, as well as serving as general counsel to Roche's multi-cancer screening diagnostics franchise. Fred's work involves a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing collaborations with healthcare institutions, developing legal support for innovative digital products, and counseling on DOJ and FDA enforcement activities in the digital space. Before joining Genentech, he worked as Senior Counsel at Amgen and served as a federal prosecutor at Main Justice, focusing on corporate investigations of life sciences companies. Fred graduated from Harvard Law School and Stanford University.
