Gabriel Scannapieco

Assistant Director, Consumer Protection Branch at United States Department of Justice

Gabe Scannapieco is Assistant Director at the Consumer Protection Branch of the US Department of Justice. Gabe has litigated numerous matters involving frauds on the United states, violations of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as well as Title 18 criminal offenses relating to prescription drugs. He has also investigated and litigated a broad range of consumer frauds for the Department, including tech support and international mass mailing schemes. Before joining DOJ, Gabe was an attorney the Chicago and Washington offices of a large, international law firm working on a variety of pharmaceutical, health care, products liability, and other complex litigation matters. Gabe received his JD from Harvard Law School, and is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
