Maria is VP, Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, providing counsel on a wide range of healthcare issues such as market access, patient support, sales & marketing, and corporate strategy, as well as overseeing the company’s overall healthcare compliance program. Prior to Deciphera, Maria served in legal and compliance roles at Tesaro (now part of GSK) and Takeda Oncology (formerly Millennium Pharmaceuticals.) Before joining the pharmaceutical industry, Maria practiced law at Cooley LLP and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
