Head Legal Oncology Region Europe at Novartis AG

Ilja is Head Legal Innovative Medicines (IM) Europe for Novartis. In this position, she is responsible for supporting the IM regional headquarters and leading & supporting the lawyers in the countries. Ilja has over 20 years’ experience in the legal field, and is specialized in Life Sciences.

Prior to her current position, Ilja was working for AstraZeneca and Teva Pharmaceuticals in local and regional leadership positions. Ilja started her career working as a lawyer in private practice for over 10 years, where she assisted many pharma companies with legal issues varying from intellectual property & pharmaceutical law, to litigation.
