Janice Carling

Region Europe Privacy & Cybersecurity Counsel at Teva

Janice Carling is the data protection and cybersecurity specialist of Teva’s Global Legal team, providing advice to all areas of Teva’s global business, including R&D, medical, IT, HR, commercial, digital, communications and corporate/transactions. She is a strategic partner to Teva’s global compliance department, especially in the privacy team’s design, implementation and running of Teva’s GDPR compliance program. Janice is a member of the EFPIA Data Protection Working Group and participates in other European and international forums for data protection specialists in the life sciences industry. Although born and raised in Canada, following graduation from McGill University Law and qualification as a Canadian lawyer, Janice moved to Europe where she has so far lived, studied and worked in Sweden, Switzerland and Italy.
