Orsolya EotvosAssistant Data Protection Officer at European Medicines Agency
Orsolya Eotvos joined the European Medicines Agency’s Legal Department in April 2017 and has been appointed as Assistant Data Protection Officer in June 2019. In addition to managing compliance with the new EU Data Protection Regulation at the Agency, she is involved in the work of the Union regulatory network on the interpretation of data protection legislation regarding scientific research and the processing of health data. She provides legal support to the Agency’s scientific activities in authorising and monitoring medicinal products. Before joining the Agency, she practiced at international law firms and as in-house counsel in the fields of pharmaceutical and data protection law.
