Jim Lord is the principal of Ecovert Corporation; a company committed to providing developers, landlords, and tenants with sustainable real estate solutions. He has over 20 years of real estate experience in varied roles including tenant, landlord, property manager, and consultant. As part of his commitment to the environment, Jim led the team that negotiated a green lease, designed LEED® interiors, and moved Royal & Sun Alliance’s Atlantic regional center to a custom-built office building. This building was the first commercial building in Atlantic Canada to register for LEED® certification. Prior to starting Ecovert, Jim held the role of Director, Corporate Services at Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance.
