Sun Life's Global Project Finance & Infrastructure team is based out of Toronto, Canada. The Project Finance & Infrastructure team in Toronto is responsible for making long term debt Project Finance & Infrastructure investments across geographies including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia for Sun Life's internal multiple books of business as well as for third party funds. Our investments typically are capital intensive infrastructure assets that exhibit high quality cash flows from government related or utility like counter parties or monopolistic, highly predictable merchant revenues. Team members are experts across multiple sectors including PPP's, electrical generation and transmission and long term concessions. Sun Life's Global Project Finance & Infrastructure team currently manages a portfolio in excess of $9 billion with over 150 issuers. Our investments are primarily fixed rate and long term. PPP investments include light rail, hospitals, schools, bridges, roads and justice facilities. Power production and transmission include hydro, wind, solar, gas, battery storage and transmission lines. Long term concessions include toll roads, water infrastructure, campus facilities, ferries and rail cars.
