Charles Calloway is an associate in the Corporate Finance department of Chapman and Cutler LLP. His practice includes representation of financial institutions and strategic investors in connection with domestic and cross border private placement transactions. These financings have included mergers and acquisitions, mezzanine, venture capital, sports and stadium finance, REITs, project finance, hedge and equity funds, and general corporate financings. He holds a BBA in international business and finance and a J.D. from the George Washington University. Charles is currently the co-editor of the American College of Investment Counsel’s monthly publication “Private Notes,” and serves on the board of directors of SPARK, Inc, a national mentorship program for middle school students in underserved communities, and the Chicago Humanities Festival, a foundation which organizes an annual series of lectures, concerts, and films exploring the humanities. Charles was recently selected by the Chicago Urban League as a 2021 Fellow of its Impact Leadership Development Program and has served on the Business and Finance Advisory Council of the George Washington University Law School since 2018.
