Profile
Mr. Pelletier joined John Hancock in 2001 and became the leader of the Industrial, Consumer, Communications, Chemicals, Entertainment, Defense and Transportation Team (“ICED-T”) in 2003. He is responsible for the management of a diversified portfolio of public and private bonds, and private equity. Prior to joining John Hancock, Mr. Pelletier was a principal and the head of Credit and Risk Management for State Street Global Advisors’ bond business that encompassed IG, HY, and EMG strategies. He spent nearly fourteen years at State Street, first as a commercial banker, then as a relationship manager for institutional clients specializing in alternative investments, and finally as a high yield bond analyst. Mr. Pelletier received a B.A. in Economics and Government graduating Magna Cum Laude from Clark University where he was Phi Beta Kappa and a Travelli Scholar, and an MBA with a concentration in finance with high honors from Babson College.
