Managing Director, Fixed Income at Cigna

Jason Smith is a Managing Director, Fixed Income at Cigna Investment Management in Bloomfield, Connecticut with over twenty years’ experience in the insurance industry.  Jason worked for several years in various roles at Travelers Insurance before joining Cigna in 2005.  During his tenure at Cigna, Mr. Smith has been involved in different aspects of investment management, including corporate bond trading as well as municipal security analysis and trading.  Presently, Jason is a member of the Fixed Income team, with a focus on credit underwriting of both public corporate bonds and private placement transactions.  Mr. Smith holds a BS from Bentley University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst ™
