Marisol Gonzalez De CosioDirector, Project Finance at Kroll Bond Rating Agency
Marisol Gonzalez de Cosio is a Director in the Project Finance Group at Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA), responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of project finance transactions and infrastructure-related companies in the power, oil and gas, transportation, and social infrastructure sectors. Marisol has experience in the credit analysis of corporates and project financings related to electricity generation, transmission, distribution, midstream, mining, oilfield services, airports, and roads.
Prior to joining KBRA, Marisol held several positions at Standard & Poor’s (now S&P Global Ratings), including as a director in the Infrastructure Ratings Group covering Latin America. In this role, she was responsible for determining new and existing ratings for a portfolio of infrastructure companies and project finance across the region, as well as for different asset types. Prior to that, Marisol was part of S&P’s Emerging Markets Structured Finance Group, where she analyzed Latin American, Spanish, and other Emerging Market asset classes, and helped develop some of the structured finance rating methodologies specific for Latin America.
Marisol holds a B.A. in applied mathematics from the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM) and is a CFA charterholder.
