Vadim is a senior associate in the London tax practice at Baker McKenzie. He advises on a broad range of UK tax matters with a particular focus on the asset management industry. He regularly assists private fund managers and investors in connection with all aspects of UK corporation tax, including formation of alternative investment vehicles, tax structuring, downstream investments and disposals, as well as the application of the anti-avoidance rules to carried interest and other remuneration arrangements. He also advises institutional private equity, hedge fund, fund-of-funds and infrastructure fund clients on their structures and tax treatment of the underlying investments.
Vadim joined Baker McKenzie in 2014 from a single family office in London where he worked as a legal counsel and advised on corporate tax and private client issues.
