Davy Vreys started his career as an auditor at PwC. After six years, he took the step towards controlling at British Telecom. He became CFO in 2009, in the middle of the financial crisis. Davy was CFO at BT for 7 years in total. Then he joined ISS facility services in the Netherlands. Although the group was doing well, the Dutch business was in a difficult financial situation. Revenue had been declining for over 10 years and Davy had to reorganize the company together with the CEO. When he received the question from Brussels Airport Company, he was in the final phase at the reorganization of ISS. “I didn’t hesitate to come here. It is a great opportunity”. As CFO at Brussels Airport Company, Davy was primarily responsible for everything related to finance and procurement. After a year, in February 2019, strategy and project management were added to his responsibilities.
