Sameer is a Managing Director with the Mizuho Global Private Placement team and is responsible for corporate, FIG and project finance coverage for global issuers including Europe, UK and Canada.   Sameer has experience originating and syndicating transactions across Investment Grade and High Yield public and private debt markets, with a particular emphasis on cross-border transactions for issuers in Western Europe, Australia and Canada.  Prior to joining Mizuho, Sameer spent 14 years at J.P. Morgan in New York and Australia in Debt Capital Markets. At J.P. Morgan, Sameer was part of a market leading public and private debt capital markets team working in origination and distribution.  Sameer earned his BSBA from The Ohio State University.
